Living with DCD
At work, adults with DCD may:

- Have difficulty keeping track of paperwork and appointments

- Have difficulty writing or typing

- Have problems with time management, planning and personal organisation skills
People with DCD may have difficulty putting their thoughts in order, planning ahead, following instructions and completing tasks.

- Experience anxiety
The constant fear of forgetting something important or failing at a task can take a toll through heightened anxiety and sometimes, depression.
Many adults with DCD use a combination of calendars, alarms and professional organisers to help them keep track of their tasks and organise their day. They form a habit of recording everything and referring to it regularly.
Those with DCD also make use of speech-to-text software to help them manage writing and typing tasks and sometimes, to help them organise their thoughts.
